You decide where you want to work: at home, at the office, or elsewhere

Flexible and your own responsibility

If we are to deliver on APG's goals and strategy, we need a working environment that is a match for the organization that APG aims to be. We need a flexible and sustainable working environment that stimulates vitality. A working environment in which people are central and one that ensures that you can work flexibly.

This working environment is not only about our offices or homeworking, but especially about how we work together. We expect you to make conscious choices to achieve more efficient and effective collaboration within and outside your team.

We offer different types of workspaces at our offices. We have the meeting zone, the collaboration zone, and the focus zone. You should select the workspace that matches the type of work you are doing. You can also work at home or meet colleagues elsewhere.

Flexible working

Flexible working means that you choose where (any place), when (any time), and how (anyhow) you do your work. You and your team combine working at the office, at home, and elsewhere in order to achieve the team goals in a way that offers everyone space for flexibility. You aim for a good work/life balance and make conscious choices in this regard together with your team. Based on your agenda, you determine the best workspace for you (home, at the office, or elsewhere) for that day’s activities. The interpretation of flexible working can differ per individual and team, for example being at the office 2 to 3 days a week. And when you are at the office, the Workspace environment offers maximum opportunities and different types of workspaces to match your activities at that time.

Conscious travel

With a new mobility policy and parking policy, APG is committed to conscious travel and offering flexibility to employees. At the same time, the policy includes measures to stimulate sustainable and health-promoting travel options. As APG employee, you make conscious choices about whether and when to travel. If you travel, you do that in the most sustainable way possible. The questions you should keep asking yourself are given below.
